You Need to File.

I have been busy with clients and returns so I have let my blogging go. But I promise to do a little better in the next couple of weeks.

Hopefully, you already know this (I blogged on this on January 29th but it bears repeating.). If you don't file a federal return for 2007, you won't get a stimulus rebate. This is especially important for seniors who just get Social Security. You don't have to pay someone lots of money to get your rebate. AARP and VITA have programs that can help. If you don't want to use one of those programs, many tax professionals I have talked with are offering special rates for taxpayers who just need to file a return for the rebate. No matter how you file, don't put off filing.
