I just dropped a book out of the typelist- Books I Recommend. This author has a blog, which I follow, for the self-employed person. I haven't always agreed with her advice but I understand that taxes are in some cases interpretive. My problem is her recent reaction to other bloggers who disagreed with her view that a separate business checking account is not needed. She choose not to honestly debate the issue but resort to sniping about spelling and grammar and back her position with examples no one would support. Finally, she dismisses these professionals claiming they don't understand small businesses. How does she know they don't understand small business? Because they disagree with her? I don't know how she is making that claim. It's not evident to me from that post.
I won't use an expert who feels the need to belittle professionals who disagree with her. It's not professional. And I don't recommend anyone or anything I wouldn't use and trust. So her book is gone.
The good news is that it has put me in the mood to do some blog spring cleaning. Nothing major. Just freshen the place up some.

I had her book on my list of "ought to read" It is now gone for the same reason you have removed it from your list.
Case in fact it was her that I learned of her book.
