October 2 from 10 am to noon in the Winfield Community Theater in Meyer Hall on Baden Square. WCT's directing workshop is scheduled for Saturday September 25th from 9 am to 1 pm in the theatre in Meyer Hall. If you are planning on attending please let us know so that enough workbooks can be put together. The cost of the workshop is $20.
Director David Andreas has announced the cast and crew for the next Winfield Community Theatre production, Grace and Glorie. The two woman cast Will be Julie Woodring as Glorie and Trish McIntire as Grace. Ron Jordan will be serving as the assistant director and also run the lights and sound. Mark Eastman will design and build the sets. Stage manager will be Teresa Wickersham. Jamison Rhoades will design the lighting. Rene Webb will be in charge of the publicity and photography with Marsha Wesseler designing the poster and Madeline Norland the programs. Dr. David Schmeidler will be in charge of tickets and house.
Grace and Glorie will be presented October 22, 23, 29, and 30, 2004 in the Winfield Community Theatre in Meyer Hall on Baden Square. All performances will begin at 8pm. Tickets are $7 per person.

Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol by Tom Mula is the story of what happens to Jacob Marley once he agrees to redeem Scrooge in order to save his own soul. At the September 9th board meeting, it was suggested that we ask for show proposals for the 2005-6 season at the January meeting. If you are interested in directing for WCT, you should start looking for a show to propose. More info will be posted as it is decided.
If the directing is something interesting but you need help getting started, Winfield Community Theatre is offering a directing workshop. The workshop is open to anyone interested in directing not only for WCT but for other producers, churches, museums, or community organizations. The workshop will be help September 25, 2004 from 9am to 1 pm in the Winfield Community Theatre in Meyer Hall on Baden Square in Winfield KS. Cost is $20 per person.
