Rumors Auditions

Auditions for Rumors, the next WCT production have been set. The tryouts will be on Sept 6th at 11am, Sept 7th at 3pm and Sept 9th at 7 pm. According to director Julia Lambert, the cast consists of 5 men and 5 women.

Auditions for The Fox on the Fairway

Director David Andreas has announced the auditions for the final production of WCT's 2013-2014 season; The Fox on the Fairway. Audtions will be held Thursday Febuary 27, 2014 at 6:30pm in the theatre in Meyer Hall. The cast calls for 3 men and 3 woman.

A tribute from Ken Ludwig (Lend Me A Tenor, Moon Over Buffalo) to the great English farces of the 1930s and 1940s, The Fox On the Fairway takes audiences on a hilarious romp which pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy denizens of a private country club. Filled with mistaken identities, slamming doors, and over-the-top romantic shenanigans, it's a furiously paced comedy that recalls the Marx Brothers' classics. A charmingly madcap adventure about love, life, and man's eternal love affair with... golf. WCT's production is scheduled for April 18, 19, 25 and 26 with curtain at 7:30.

Adam's Eve Auditions

The auditions for WCT's next show, Adam's Eve have been set. Larry Junker, the director of this play, will be having tryouts on December 3, 5 and 9 from 7 to 8pm at the WCT theatre in Meyer Hall. Rehearsals will begin January 2nd. Performances for Adam's Eve will be Febuary 14, 15, 21 and 22, 2014.

Auditions for Dead Men Don't Itch

Because of the weather, extra auditions for the final production of WCT's 2012-13 season have been added. Auditions will be tonight (Wed 2/27), Thursday Feb, 28 and Friday March 1 at 7pm in the WCT theatre in Meyer Hall on Baden Square. Saturday March 2nd audtions will be held in the theatre at 12 noon.

Auditions for Daddy's Girl

Director Bill Flippo has announced the auditions for WCT's next show, Daddy's Girl, have been set for Nov 27 and 29 at the theatre from 7 to 9 pm.

Auditions for Kindergarten

Tryouts for the next WCT production; Everything I Needed to Know I learned in Kindergarten, will be Monday Sept 17 and Tueday Sept 18 at 7pm in the WCT theatre. The theatre is located in Meyer Hall on Baden Square (1500 E 8th in Winfield).

Everything I Needed to Know I learned in Kindergarten is based on the essays of Robert Fulgham and uses skits and monologues to tell the stories. The vignettes range from thoughtful to farcical. The cast is flexible and this is a great show to try your hand in performing. The characters are fun and interesting but most pieces are short. If you aren't interested in acting but want to get involved, WCT is always looking for people to help backstage and with sets, costumes, lights and sound. Come by the auditions or call the director at the number above.

Performamces will be Nov, 9, 10, 16, and 17.

Auditions for Camelot

Auditions for Camelot, the first show in WCT's 2012-13 season, have been set.

• Saturday June 2nd; 10:30am to 11:30am
• Sunday June 3rd; 2pm to 3pm

Both sessions will be held at the WCT theatre in Meyer Hall on Baden Square (1500 E 8th in Winfield.) No prepared materials are required.

Camelot is a Lerner and Lowe musical based on King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Performances are August 17, 18, 19, 24 and 25, 2012.

Auditions for Always...Patsy Cline

 Winfield Community Theater announces auditions for the upcoming production of "Always...Patsy Cline" Monday, March 5, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Winfield Community Theater auditorium in Meyer Hall at Baden Square. The cast calls for 2 females, one age 20-30, the other age 40-60. Please bring a musical selection. There will be no accompanist. Production co-directed by Larry Junker and David Andreas. Auditions For Wife Begins at 40

Auditons have been set for the next WCT Production, Wife Begins at Forty. Auditions will be held Thursday Dec 8th at 7pm and Saturday Dec. 10th at 11am. Both sessions will be in WCT's theater in Meyer Hall on Baden Sq. (1500 E 8th, Winfield).

Wife Begins at Forty is a small cast comedy and will be directed by Julia Lambert.

WCT is always looking for new cast and crew members. Auditions are a great time to come by and sign up.

This show also will require a dog. If you have a pet you think could handle the job, please e-mail the theatre at [email protected] and we will pass your info to the director.

 

Time Change for Guys and Dolls Auditons

The time for the Sunday June 5th Guys and Dolls tryouts have been moved back to 2pm and they will run until 3pm. The auditions set for Saturday morning the 4th at 10am have not changed.
